We are a marketplace, not a mover

MOVERS.LA is a directory and referral service for Los Angeles County. We do not transport household goods, employ moving crews, own trucks, or act as a broker of record for your shipment. Any moving services you receive are provided under a contract between you and the moving company you choose. We are not a party to that contract and are not responsible for its performance.

Verify licensing before you book

Household moves within California require a state permit (an MTR or T number) from the California regulator, and interstate moves require USDOT registration. We ask network partners for these credentials, but registration status can change at any time. You are responsible for confirming a mover's current licensing and insurance directly with the regulator before paying a deposit or signing an estimate.

Pricing information is illustrative

Cost ranges, estimator outputs and comparison figures on this site are planning aids compiled from commonly published market data. They are not quotes, not offers, and not binding on any moving company. Only a written estimate from a licensed mover is a price.

Listings and demonstration content

Some company listings, review counts and network statistics shown on this site are illustrative placeholders used while the marketplace is being built, and do not represent real, verified businesses or real customer reviews. Do not rely on them when choosing a mover.

Submitting a request

You agree that the information you submit is accurate and that you are authorized to provide the contact details you enter. Requests are intended to be routed to a single licensed moving company on an exclusive basis. See the privacy policy for how information is handled.

Acceptable use

Do not scrape, resell or systematically copy site content, submit fraudulent requests, or attempt to disrupt the service.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, MOVERS.LA is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for any loss, damage, delay or dispute arising from services performed by a moving company found through this site.
